Elbow Pain, Epicondylitis

For acute or even chronic pain of the elbow, many experience significant improvement after 6 to 8 acupuncture treatments. Because acupuncture promotes healing, continued treatments lead to further reduction of inflammation and pain.

Acupuncture is highly effective for various types of elbow pains: lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow), and cubital tunnel syndrome.

Tennis elbow is a painful condition caused by the overuse of forearm muscles and tendons that connect to the outside of the elbow. This repetitive strain leads to microscopic tears and degeneration in the tendons, resulting in inflammation and pain.

Golfer’s elbow is a condition that causes pain on the inner side of the elbow. It results in overuse of the muscles and tendons that attach to the inner side of the elbow.

Cubital tunnel syndrome is a condition that occurs when the ulnar nerve, which runs along the inner side of the elbow, becomes compressed. This compression can lead to pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness in the hand and forearm
