Why I am acupuncturist
Growing up in Taiwan and as a Taekwondo champion, Peggy learned early how powerful acupuncture and Oriental medicine can be. In America, it became quickly evident that there are still a significant number of people who do not understand this medicine. She wants to do her best in sharing this thousands-of-year-old medicine by providing good relief and seeing big smiles. Furthermore, she believes her purpose is to help people fulfill their mission in life by increasing the health of mind and body.
Life experience and volunteering clarified Peggy’s mission in life. She is keenly aware of how important both mental and physical health is for everyone. Being a holistic practitioner of acupuncture and Oriental medicine, she relieves pain and treats internal diseases.
She graduated from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica with a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine. She completed 4 years of courses and more than 800 clinical hours, which included an externship at Being Alive, an HIV and AIDS organization in Hollywood, California. Her Bachelor of Science was Family Studies and Child Development with much volunteer work and community service.
