Sarah M. Before I came to see Dr. Lee, the right side of my jaw had hurt. It was painful to open my mouth, and my jaw would lock. It closed on an average of twice a week for 4-5 years. The dentists’ would say to not worry about it, “that happens sometimes”. My jaw finally locked shut for up to six weeks, before I had acupuncture. I came in to see Dr. Lee, and by the time I finished my first treatment, up to the time I got home, my jaw opened enough to make eating food a little more pleasant.
