SPRAIN
For acute and chronic sprains, acupuncture is known to
reduce significant amount of pain and inflammation after
at least twice as fast and to resolve the condition.

A stretching or tearing of ligaments, the fibrous bands that bind
bones together at a joint, is referred to as a sprain.
Typically, the surrounding blood vessels are also injured, resulting in
    bruising.

Although ligaments are very strong, almost any fall or misstep that
    twists
a joint into an unnatural position can result in a sprain; in fact, a
    sprained
ankle is the most common of all sports injuries. The knees are also
    vulnerable to severe sprains.

I have been coming to acupuncture for over a month now. When I first
came in, my conditions were mostly IBS symptoms and some heel
pain. Both symptoms were pretty severe. After the first few treatments
of acupuncture, I felt better. As time went on I started to notice a
change in my body not only with the symptoms that I had been
suffering from but just (also) in my overall health. I started to feel more
relaxed and my sleep became more restful.

Today my heel pain has diminished and my IBS is calmer. Along with
the acupuncture Dr. Lee gave me Chinese herbs and some advice on
what types of foods my body may not be able to handle. Both have
really helped me in my progress to feeling better and also all better
    mental and physical health.

I had a constant burning sensation in the bladder, especially
during urination. It began about two years ago and has been very
uncomfortable since then. I was waking up 10 to 12 times a night to
urinate. During the day, the pain was often unbearable. In my first
acupuncture, I felt the pain going away while lying down on the table.
My progress of improvement has been truly amazing. I have been
coming about one month and half now. The burning pain is very
minimal and I only get up about 3-4 times a night.

I was very surprised that my lower back and knee pain were also
getting better. Often, I forget to use a cane and people at meetings are
surprised that I am walking around without a cane. I was taking allergy
pills every day. Now my nose is completely open even without
medication. This is truly amazing and wonderful that I can live
comfortably. Coming here made a difference of night and day.

I sprained my ankle quite badly and acupuncture was recommended
to me. At first, I did not take the advice but after a week of consistent
pain and limping and no significant improvement, I called David Lee.

We me shortly after and to my amazement I walked out of his office
without a limp after just one visit. Not only that, but he also began
treating my allergies. I have had difficulty with allergies for at least 20
years. I often would need to breathe out of my mouth because I was
unable to get enough air through my nose. My nasal passages would
be swollen and congested. During times of wind I would get severe
sinus headaches. With several visits over the last week and a half, I’m
ready to get back to my exercise routine and breathe more freely than
    I can ever remember.

I have recommended Dr. Lee to many people already and will continue
to see him myself as well. If I had any complaint at all, it would be that
I did not come to see him sooner. He is a blessing and I am grateful.
